No. Annostel does not require registration, a login, or a cloud account.
Your reminders and history stay on your device. If you choose to export a backup, you control where that file is saved or shared.
Yes. Export your Annostel data as a CSV file, move the file to your new device, and import it there. The export includes both your reminders and your history.
Yes. Because the export is a CSV file, you can choose to share it with a healthcare professional or nutritionist, open it in a spreadsheet, or process it with an AI tool. The export may contain sensitive information, so review it first and use only recipients or services you trust. Their privacy terms apply once you share or upload the file.
Not currently. We have evaluated HL7 FHIR, including how reminders and completed history could map to its medication resources. For now, Annostel uses simpler, documented CSV, QR-code, and deep-link formats that fit its local-first design. It does not connect directly to Kanta, electronic health records, or clinical systems. Standards-based import and export may be considered later if it can be implemented reliably and without making Annostel harder to use.
Yes. Core reminder and history features are designed to work without an internet connection.
The camera is used only when you choose “Add from QR.” It scans machine-created QR shortcuts containing a reminder name, amount, and time so Annostel can add them for you. Annostel does not take, save, or upload photos or video.
On supported watches, interactive notifications let you mark an item as taken or snooze it from your wrist, and Annostel updates the status on your phone. Apple Watch works through notification forwarding from a paired iPhone; notification mirroring and permissions must be enabled. Interactive actions also work on supported Garmin watches, including Garmin Fenix models.
No. Annostel is an organizational reminder utility. It does not provide medical advice, verify doses or schedules, or replace guidance from a qualified professional.
