Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy describes how the Annostel mobile application handles information. In this policy, “Annostel,” “we,” and “us” refer to the developer of the Annostel app.

2. Information stored on your device

Annostel stores the information you enter locally on your device. This may include:

• item or medicine names;
• amount or dosage details;
• reminder times and schedules;
• taken, missed, skipped, or one-time log entries; and
• notes and reminder history.

Annostel does not require an account or login and does not provide cloud synchronization. We do not receive or store this reminder data on our servers.

3. When information may leave your device

Your information may leave the device only through actions you initiate or through services provided by your device or app-store provider:

• CSV export. An exported backup may contain your reminders and history. You choose where to save or share it.
• CSV import. A file you select is read into Annostel and stored locally.
• QR scanning. Data contained in an Annostel QR code is read into the app on your device.
• Sharing and analysis. You may choose to share an export with a healthcare professional, nutritionist, another person, a spreadsheet application, or an AI tool. The exported file may contain sensitive information. Review it before sharing and use only recipients or services you trust. Their privacy practices apply after you send or upload the file.

Your operating-system provider and the store from which you downloaded Annostel may process technical, purchase, or diagnostic information under their own privacy policies. Annostel does not control those services.

4. Device permissions

• Notifications are used to show reminders you schedule.
• Camera access is used only when you choose “Add from QR.” The camera scans machine-created QR shortcuts containing a reminder name, amount, and time. Annostel scans QR codes only and does not take, save, or upload photos or video.

You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

5. Advertising, analytics, and sale of data

Annostel does not contain advertising, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell reminder or routine information and do not use it for targeted advertising.

6. Data retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you remove it in the app, clear the app’s data, or uninstall Annostel. We cannot recover locally deleted information. Exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or share them and must be deleted from those locations separately.

7. Security

Annostel limits privacy risk by keeping reminder data on your device. You are responsible for securing your device and any exported files. No storage method is completely secure, so use appropriate device protection and take care when sharing backups.

8. Children’s privacy

Annostel is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no account or server-side collection, we do not receive age information from users.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
